Last month I spent 3 weeks in the south of Bangladesh to study how people adapt to climate change. I met people from BRRI the Bangladesh Rice Research Institute, the UNDP, government officials and many inhabitants of the area.
The coastal belt is the most vulnerable area of the country. Every year it is affected by floods and cyclones. With climate change these event are more frequent and unpredictable. But people are working together to find innovative solutions.
